Dal Paratha

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup Dal
  • 1 tsp Ajwain
  • ½ tsp Turmeric
  • Coriander Leaves
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 ½ cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • Ghee

Recipe

  • Add ¾ cup of cooked and mashed thick Dal on a pan.
  • Add 1 tsp Ajwain, ½ tsp Turmeric, Chopped Coriander Leaves, 1 tsp Chilli Powder, Salt as per taste, 1 tsp Garam Masala. 
  • Add 1 ½ cup Whole Wheat Flour to this mixture. 
  • Knead the dough well while water as required.
  • Make 6-8 dough balls. 
  • Flatten them out using a rolling pin.
  • Threefold it and flatten it out again. 
  • Heat a Tawa and place the Dal Paratha on it. 
  • Let it cook well on both sides.
  • Smear ghee on it.
  • Serve with chutney or pickle!

Veg Wraps

Ingredients

  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 medium-sized Carrot
  • 3-4 Garlic Cloves
  • 2-3 Green Chillies
  • ½ Cabbage
  • ½ cup Cream Cheese
  • 1 tsp Pepper Powder
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice

Recipe

  • Chop 1 Onion, 1 Tomato, 1 medium-sized Carrot, ½ Cabbage, Garlic, and Green Chillies. 
  • Add them to a bowl and sprinkle vinegar on them. Leave it for a while.
  • Meanwhile in another bowl, add ½ cup Cream Cheese, 1 tsp Pepper Powder (Kali Mirch), 1 tsp Olive Oil, and 1 tsp Lemon Juice.
  • Mix up everything well.
  • Smear the mixture over the already prepared Roti
  • Now place chopped veggies on the top of the mixture.
  • Roll it up and Serve!

Pancakes

Pancakes are a type of fluffy and tasty flatbread, made of Maida or All-Purpose Flour, that are full of scrumptious flavours and sweetness. It is a perfect maida recipe for all those who love sweets. Ingredients

  • 1 cup Maida
  • 2 ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¾ tsp White Sugar
  • ¾ cups Milk
  • 1 small Egg
  • 2 tsp melted Butter

Recipe

  • In a large bowl, add 1 cup Maida or Refined flour, 2 ½ tsp Baking Powder, ½ tsp Salt, ¾ tsp White Sugar. 
  • Now make a well in the center and pour ¾ cup Milk, 1 Egg and 2 tsp Melted Butter. 
  • Mix well to form a smooth batter. 
  • Pour the batter in small portions onto a frying pan. 
  • Cook well on both sides. 
  • Sprinkle it with some sugar and Serve!

Chole Bhature

Chole Bhature is one of the most popular dishes in the Northern states of India. The combination of chole with bhature made with maida is all that you need during your lunchtime meal. Serving it with chutney, achaar or onions adds to the satisfaction of the meal. 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiled Chole
  • Sunflower Oil
  • ½ tsp Jeera
  • ½ cup chopped Onions
  • ½ tsp chopped Ginger
  • 2 tsp chopped Garlic
  • 2 tsp Chole Masale
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tsp Dhania Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup Maida
  • 2 ½ tsp Curd

Recipe 

  • Heat 2 tsp Sunflower Oil in a non-stick pan. 
  • Add ½ tsp Jeera to the oil and saute.
  • Now, add ½ cup chopped Onions, ½ tsp chopped Ginger, and 2 tsp chopped Garlic. Saute for 2 minutes. 
  • Add 2 tsp Chole Masala, 1 tsp Chilli Powder, ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder, 2 tsp Dhania Powder, Salt as per taste, and 1 cup of water.
  • Mix well and mash the chole with mashers.

  • Keep aside covering via a muslin cloth for 20 minutes.
  • Make balls and flatten them out in a circular shape.
